Since my father-in-law runs a paint store, and I had the privelege of working for him for 5 years, I like what he sells. I use a lot of Martin-Senour Tough Coat enamel, since I can mix it to be whatever color I want. Goes on well, resists most everything, and lasts a long time. I refinish parts for motorcycles like the battery box and it holds up well against the battery acid.

I've used it on just about everything.
