Terry,
Isn't that a capacitor-start motor? Do you hear a hum? If so, test your
capacitor with an ohmmeter. If good, the meter pegs then goes back to zero.
You can also by-pass the timer; look @ the schematic and use an old power
cord w/two fem connectors. (Attach to motor BEFORE you plug it in).
