Mark,

 Murph iz the Imperial Wizzard on that stuff - I don't need to know much;
just enough to ask my friend, Murph. He has some stuff on the net and I
printed it. I'll try to find it for you.

Roger,

 I don't think it is possible to quiet a blown forge to the decibel level of
an atmospheric forge. I used Murph's atmospheric forge in a demo a
few months ago and it was great. I could hear questions and they could hear
answers. I used a blown forge in a demo last month and it sounded like an
F-14 - couldn't hear it thunder. My blown forge is noisy but efficient - I
may try your muffler idea and see if there is any difference

Is there a link showing the Murph forge design?

I think the forced air sounds cool. But in a teaching environment I wouldn't
want one...

Mark
