Hello all -
I am a member of ABANA, BAM, UMBA, and IVBA The local ones, I don't
get to the meetings often enough. BAM I joined because of their newsletter.
I did the same for IVBA. UMBA is more local to me, though I only get to 1
or 2 meetings a year. My life is busy. I joined ABANA to find out what is
out there for blacksmithing and blacksmiths when I didn't know if / where
there were any local organisations.
I did not vote. I dont see any sense in wasting a stamp to let 5 people
know that they are the only ones running for their posts. I am not in a
financial situation to run for something that would require travel, time off
from work, etc. like an international organisation. That does not mean I
don't support the org. I do. BUT I wont waste money on a foregone
conclusion.
I yam what I yam. ... Popeye
