[TheForge] ABANA Election Results

Sorry to hear about the slow mail Dave S, I really don't think that there is
anything that ABANA can do about that. I to live deep in the woods
or swamp in my case, and experience similar mail problems. I have
brought it up to the board before and I will again in a few weeks, that
ABANA should / could offer an e-subscription. It would cost the same
and the advantage for the member is that they could go on-line to read
or download the magazines as soon as they are ready to go to the printer.
This would really help folks that have mail problems. It would also help
all of the out of the country members. No duty or long delays on
e-mail.(yet)
Members that were environmentally conscientious might appreciate it as well.
It would be a great money saver for ABANA in that we wouldn't have to
pay for printing and postage for that subscriber. "They" tell us that most
of the $45 membership goes for printing & postage.

I will pass your e-mail along to the board and the editors. It does seem
like
the AR was late and the balloting time was short. Thanks for your feed back
