And I though, "Yeah, yeah, yeah." :-)

We just came off 3 days with no power. We ran our 4 KW gas generator
for three 2-hour periods a day: Freezer, fridge, computer, radio and,
for the evening episode, some lights.

The good news is that my steel supplier messed up and sent the order
Friday on a small truck instead of Tuesday on a 40' trailer. So it
got delivered to the door (and, of course, drug inside) before the
foot of wet, gloppy snow buried everything. By Tuesday, I would have
had to have hauled a saw and stuff out half a mile to the pavement and
cut it all up in the snowbank in the neighbors yard where there's room
for the big truck to turn. How nice. Sometimes even Murphy gets hit
by Murphy's law.
