OK, I just measured. My favorite set-up is 29", although that varies,
depending on which anvil I'm using on which stump, from 29-31 inches.
According to the conventional wisdom (to the knuckles) I actually should be
having it at 27 inches, but that feels too low. I'm 5'10, if that helps your
calculations.
