Mike, On my newer style forge that has a lid that raises and lowers,
I use pipe hangers so you just remove two 3/8 bolts and the burner comes
right out of the forge if you want to remove it.
On the pipe forge I have, I just made a larger pipe have three nuts
welded to it, so the bolts (like a christmas tree stand) willo aim and hold
the burner tube in position.
That's what works for me.
