What I like to do is weld a piece of 1/4 or 3/16 x 1 bar stock to the 
forge frame. I usually run the bar straight up for a ways, then bend it 
at the angle the burners sit at. You need to fiddle with it a little to 
get the right angle in the right place.

I mount a 3/4" body burner with U bolts over this 1" bar. Note that the 
OD of 3/4" pipe is a hair bigger than 1"--use 1 1/4" U bolts.

I don't know if this would be an easy way to have a removable burner or 
not, just the way I do it.
