Yes, the city sold the scrap to dealers under the assumption that it was to 
be recycled not sold as souvenirs. Although if I was able to write a web 
page in Arabic I would sell all my regular scrap as pieces of the towers to 
them, would they sue for fraud in a US court?

Where in Staten Island are you from? I'm in Great Kills a mile from the 
toxic Brookfield dump and about three from the Fresh Kills Dump (Worlds 
largest pile of s**t). If you want to tell how old are you?

I think in the future after the oil is gone they will mine the dumps to 
reclaim the polmers in all the plastics that are now "stored" there. They 
don't want to incinerate even if it can be mostly fired with the methane 
that comes out of the dump.
