could be both or ether. I tested my hammer with a old 20gal compressor and
got about 150-180 for 1 or two minutes. then it dropped off . I run my
hammer with 100-120 psi with a 60gal tank
thing that can affect the speed are .
1)friction of ram
2)psi higher the faster
3) hose size
4) valve size
5) distance from vale to the release of air on you peddle.
so a little more info is needed before we can give a good answer
