	Not sure what you're describing here, but the anvil really should
	be solid all the way to the base of the hammer.  If you're intending
	on mounting the round anvil atop and Ibeam support, I would have to
	say that it's not the best solution.  If that's not what you're
	saying, then never mind. 



Yea, that is what I am saying. Just trying to work with what I have. If I
have to buy a solid round that is 36-48" tall/that is what is
best....Well.....I may have to.
