That's a cool trick, that pencil lead thing. Man, you learn something
every day. Sometimes two things.
Aaron, have you thought about welding? I've had good luck welding
copper together using tig and regular single strand electrical wire for
filler, and I bet you could do it with gas too. Copper runs really
smoothly, it just takes a lot of heat, and the whole piece gets hot
real fast, almost like water running up a pipe. It gets all black and
nasty looking but scotch-brite makes it nice again. The nice thing
about welding is that you have all one color of metal--you can make it
look like it grew that way.
