I haven't brazed in decades, but one think I do remember. Take a number 2
pencil and draw a line down the side of both sides of the area to be brazed.
The lead left behind by the pencil will make a dam, and you will have pretty
straight lines on each side of the joint.

All the best.

Hello all.

I am in need of a little instruction on how to braze. I have not been able
to find any resources on line that give any information on how to at all.
Might someone be able to give me the Readers Digest version? I am trying to
finish an X-mass gift for my mother.

What I am trying to do is braze copper grounding rod to copper roofing. I am
using theses components to create feathers. I know it sounds strange but it
will really look neat for what I am trying to do. I will try to post
pictures when I get the project done, which is if I ever get it done. I
have tried to solder them together but they just don't won't to stick
together and I would rather not have a white line running down the center of
each feather.

Thanks for what ever help you can give.
