	I've heard a few (very few) anecdotal accounts of people with
	whom the lasik not only didn't help, but made their vision
	much worse than it was.  I'd hate to be that one in a million.

	I've also heard questions raised about the unkown long-term effects
	of the procedure.  This is a reasonable concern, I suppose.  Messing
	with the fundamental structure of organs that I would much rather not
	have to live without or otherwise louse up is an idea I don't much
	cotton to.
