Folks,

Tomorrow I will meet with a potential associate to discuss a possible job 
for
architectural ironwork for a real estate developer.  So far all I know is 
that
the development is about $135M worth, not a bad chunk of change.

What I would like to know from those of you that have done this sort of 
thing
before (i.e. bidding on such a project) is: what proportion of the total 
(in
this case $135M) cost of these projects does the ironwork account for?  I'm
looking for typical figures.  I know the REAL answer is "it depends".  I 
just
would like a ballpark notion, i.e. would it typically be closer to .5% or 
5%,
to pull numbers off the top of me pointy.  I would like to go into this 
meeting
without being completely surprised one way ot the other.
