Correction, the outer plates were smaller, at the top the inner plate
dropped down at the top to make the wire chase. See photo in anything
else.

Subject: [TheForge] chandelier arms

I am working out the details for a commission to make two chandeliers
similar in design. One is 48" dia. round shape the other is 48" x 24"
dia oval shape. These are typical elegant pieces with long spindly arms.
I am wondering what to make the arms from? Seems like 1/8" or 1/4" black
iron pipe would be too......clunky. Any ideas welcome.
