Thanks for the info about the MG750 rod.  Can it be used with a 225 amp AC
buzz box?

I sure wish some of you would try some refinishing w/ the rods we have been
using for about 10 years.
We have had excellent luck, no call backs, not chipping, and it makes it so
easy, everyone can start
refacing anvils. You can tie top to base w/ 6010/6011 as underlayment.

MG750 rod. from MG Industries, for the rock crushing industry, "highest
impact"resistance

Pros:
Used to join dis-similar steels( tool to mild)
NO PREHEAT
Hammer to stress relieve
Work hardens
Can be re- coated w/ Mg760 for addtional hardness

Cons:
Cost-  $2.20 each rod
Availibility- I have two local dealers that carry them ( Holox )
Color match- high manganeze so it rusts out silver
