I sure wish some of you would try some refinishing w/ the rods we have =
been using for about 10 years.
We have had excellent luck, no call backs, not chipping, and it makes it =
so easy, everyone can start
refacing anvils. You can tie top to base w/ 6010/6011 as underlayment.
MG750 rod. from MG Industries, for the rock crushing industry, "highest =
impact"resistance
Pros:
Used to join dis-similar steels( tool to mild)
NO PREHEAT
Hammer to stress relieve
Work hardens
Can be re- coated w/ Mg760 for addtional hardness
Cons:
Cost- $2.20 each rod
Availibility- I have two local dealers that carry them ( Holox )
Color match- high manganeze so it rusts out silver
