[TheForge] Welding a whole lotta cast iron

Zinc Sulfate or a Bromine tablet for a hot tub works real well, neither are
harmful. The bromine will make sure when you feel like taking a dip in the
bucket after grabbing that hot piece of iron it will be pretty sterile.
We use Zinc sulfate around here on sheep's hooves to kill foot rot fungus.
Since we move the pan around between gates in the fields and fill it then
dump the leftover on the gournd (because it keeps working whe the sheep walk
through the gates or around watering troughs). One day we were trying to
figure out why the mudpuddles around the watering troughs never have
mosquito larvae in them. Only one thing to try and sure enough that was the
case. It takes about a table spoon of granular powder for 50 gal. A mind
to those who forge weld though I have never tried it, with steel I want to
forge weld on it may contaminate it.....
