At that price I'm inclined to buy a new anvil from Old World or

Go ahead and pick up the Harbor Freight cast steel 110 lb- it's a decent
anvil- I used it all last summer, demonstrating to my students that they
could get started without having to buy a Peter Wright, or some other high
dollar anvil. I also like it, because if some yahoo busts it doing something
stupid when I'm not looking, I'm not out a bunch of money and history. The
55 lb anvil isn't too bad either, although I don't like the horn very well,
but reshaping it, and a bick would get me what I want.
