Back in the bad and sad days of Phoenix when I was at the shop
in Mesa, we used to do our tough ring rolling at a friend's
shop. He had a hydraulic roller. One day I showed up and he
was rolling arcs, 4" x 1/4" on edge, cold. You go REAL slow
and steady, but damn if that contraption didn't roll perfect
segments of a ring that was 20 or 30 feet in diameter. I was
	duly impressed.
