[TheForge] waste vegetable oil burners

I know that winter is over and that summer is on it's way, but ....

I've been thinking about alternative heat sources for the shop. Yes, I got
a pellet stove last winter and I like it. However, the thought of free
fuel (waste vegetable oil from restaurant fryers) is intriguing.

I've looked around the web a bit and found some basic information and
Mother Earth News has instructions on building a waste oil heater (uses
waste motor oil, but I think it should use waste vegetable oil too) that
can be seen at: http://www.bagelhole.org/article.php/Energy/275/

I like Gene Olson's solar collector setup and plan on putting up something
similar before next winter. But in the meantime I'm interested in learning
something about these waste oil burners. Maybe there's even the potential
for a waste vegetable oil fired forge somewhere in there?
