[TheForge] Fly Press stand

Following the previous discussion about the Fly Press I have ordered a 
number 6 press from Old World Anvils.  I was wondering if anyone had any 
good advise for building the stand for this machine.  The weight of the 
press is about 700 lbs.  Ron Reils web site shows a stand with splayed out 
legs, is the a good idea, or would the same foot print with straight legs 
be just as good.  Any other good advise is also welcome.
