Evidently esp@cenet "improved" their search engine by removing the patent
number search option. I've just spent half an hour searching through their
site and couldn't figure out how to just look at a patent by number.
I got close by using boolean operators and a word search. In fact I found a
1922 Massey hammer patent with a linear spool valve that looks WAY more
complicated than the 1902 patent. I also discovered I couldn't access the
description, you have to pay for the text.
I guess I'll have to learn how to search the US patent server. <sigh>
Bummed.
