I have handeled some things made by one of those "printers" I could have
broken it with a bit of effort but good for a 3-D visual refferance of a
part in the design stage and rough fit test.
Would love to see the "printer" at work.

builds a model out of some sort of plastic compound, one layer at a time.
The entire process takes 15 minutes to an hour or so, depending on the size.
Supposedly it's pretty durable, can be handled easily, and can even be used
as a pattern for a casting.
