Looks good, except what is that peculiar material it's made from?  Wood?

Clay Spencer demonstrates a tool based upon the same principal but made of =
metal.  I think it's more adjustable, too.  Unfortunately, I can't recall =
it well enough to describe it.  I wouldn't be surprised if it's in Francis =
Whitaker's (sp?) "Blacksmiths Cookbook" or a similar book

There was a thread a while back about a jig to draw ovals.  Here is the=20
