[TheForge] magic tumblers

I built a tumbler from a storage drum, 55 gls with a clamp on lid and a
salvaged barrel stand. The barrel stand is one of those you slip under the
drum like a hand truck, then lays back on steel casters.
I welded five rubber casters on the stand, four carry the drum and the fifth
keep it from walking off the stand.
I mounted the motor to a hinge board below the drum with a 5:1.5 jack shaft,
then a belt around the drum for another 23:1.5 for a total reduction of 33.8
RPM. Was hoping for 331/3 but oh well. <grin>
Anyway, just running the belt over the barrel works fine but if it slips too
much, just wipe the drum with a thin coat of silicone calking.

If it ain't forged
it ain't real.
Wrought iron is.
