The 15th Batson Bladesmithing Symposium at Tannehill Iron Works near
McCalla, Alabama will be on 4-6 April 2003.


The guest demonstrators will be Devin Thomas, Kevin Cashen, Greg Neely and 
Simon Stanley.
The normal supporting cast of Don Fogg, Alex Daniels, B R Hughes, Jerry 
Fisk, Chuck
Patrick, Steve Schwarzer, Joe Keeslar, Mel Pardue, etc will also be
demonstrating their skills.

Jerry will head up the cutting competition.

Devin Thomas is noted for his Damascus steel

Kevin Cashen, an ABS Master Smith from Michigan specializes in the old 
Damascus Medieval swords

Greg Neely another ABS Master from Houston is an excellent teacher of art 
bladesmithing and knife making

Simon Stanley from England holds the modern world long bow record of over 
575 yards.
He will forge bodkins and scramasaxes
