At the risk of sounding like a redneck I think you may have over stated the
danger of naval jelly which is one of many phosphoric acid containing
anti-rust products.  Certainly it isn't good for you and I always wear eye
protection when using acid products but I think you would be safe with thin
plastic medical type gloves and in fact I routinely use it bare handed and
get it on my hands many times a day for brief periods.  Depending on what
I'm doing, I rinse as soon as I can as with prolonged exposure it will sting
and will fins a cut immediately.  It is in coca cola however and accounts
for cokes rust inhibiting properties.
