Well, I dislike toxic chemicals. I didn't want someone using light latex
surgical- type gloves, and ripping them on some sharp piece of metal. And,
have you seen what happens to organic material when you drop it in a volume
of coca-cola? The heavier, dishwashing type should be fine, but I tend to
think safety first- I am a medic, after all. Much easier to prevent an
injury, using good sense, than to treat it afterwards.
