Bobby, When plumbing in your air system, use 3/4 or 1" if you have
it. Then do your drops to your air stations with T's (horizontal). Then
these T's feed to another T that is verticle which allows the air to be
taken off in a quick coupler or whip or what ever suits your needs. At the
bottom of the T is a ball valve to allow any collected moisture to be
drained. In each air station you can install a seperator/regulator, or
oiler if needed for that particular stations needs.

Ralph

Subject: [TheForge] Air compressor and ABANA

> I have had a 20 gal. portable air compressor for some time and finally got
tired of having to wait for the air to build up so I could operate an air
tool.
>
> I am purchasing a 6.5 hp with a 60 gal tank. I will be installing an
automatic drain valve ($9.99). Check out www.paragoncode.com for a complete
installation instruction for this valve. I will be installing an inline
F.L.R. and it will housed outside my blacksmith shop.
>
> Since this is my first large tank, I need some help/suggestions. I will
run a line through my blacksmith shop with outlets through out the shop and
on into my wood working shop with outlets through out. The distance from
the compressor to the far end of my wood working shop will be 33/34 feet.
>
> Does anyone have a suggestion on layout? What size line should I use to
run through the shop? And any other suggestions you have.

asked questions, I expected answers, they (supervisors, managers, directors
or V.P.s) could answer my questions to my satisfaction or they would answer
to higher management or they could possible be looking for another job. The
ABANA board members were elected by the membership and the members can
unelect them the next time they come up for election if they can not
provide the minutes and answer questions. The ABANA board is one the
reasons I am an ex-member. Right, wrong or indifferent, it looks as if
someone is trying to cover up something.
