Extremely important in places like Atlanta where the humidity is high.
At the side work, we have a separator at the end of each run.  Also, the
vertical run out of the compressor is about 12', and when I drain the
tank, I drain that vertical run, which generally also spits out a lot of
water.  I have had air tools, used outside in December, totally freeze
up with water, and the cooling effects of the air coming out of the
tool.
