Chris-
The contradiction is right where I copied it in... "No I did not receive
it"... "Yes I signed for it, but I didn't open it."
If he didn't open it, fine... but at least have the decency to treat us as
something other than children and tell us the truth the first time. The
involvement is simple enough that a straightforward response a week ago
would have settled this. Instead, he simply gave more fuel for the fire,
and damaged his reputation in the eyes of this member. Since I don't know
Bill other than via this medium I can only judge him by his actions on this
forum. He made a statement a week ago and the one this week is a direct
contradiction. With that as my only measure of the man, I must say the
measure is not looking too good at this point.
And if you don't like us talking about the organization we belong to and
have a duty to look after, fine. Set your filters to ignore these threads,
or simply hit the delete key. What we're having here is an exchange of
information designed to bring to light the facts of certain allegations. If
there is nothing to be found, so be it. If there is, we will be informed
and can make decisions based on that information. Until then we are simply
uninformed, and can be written off as whiners. After that point, if we do
nothing, than we can be written off as lazy.
