I did all the skirting and cornices for my showroom from 50mm flat, I
textured it hot under the power hammer and keeping a close eye on it you can
move any warps by concentrating the blows on the side of the material to
straighten it out, its still not perfect but pretty close, you could get the
edge machined, some places have very large belt sanders
