[TheForge] chop saws, best currently available?

I have had the best success with my Ryobi. The Ridgid is too
lightweight, despite its lifetime guarantee. Home Depot has replaced it
three times in the first year after I bought it. Then they had a
closeout Ryobi for $100 so I decided to retire my 7 year old Ryobi as
it was really starting to drag on cuts. The New Ryobi is built as well
as the first and has held up as well, but I am not as happy with the
recent changes they made to the vise.

The Ryobi's have cast iron bases. Most of the rest are sheet metal.
Also look at the motor ventilation, is it going to collect all the
grinding dust? And the pivot arm assembly. On the Ridgid units if you
lean on the cut at all it twists.
