[TheForge] Milwaukee Tools (was Chopsaws)

Amos, I also picked up one of the portabands about three years ago.
It has been used a lot around the shop and is one of the tools on the "how
the hell did I live without this" list.
I didn't have much luck with cheap blades, but I've been getting
some bimetals from McMaster Carr and they hold up pretty well. When your
trying to do a cut and not up against the shoe/fence and the blade grabs and
kinks is when you loose the most of them. When you take the time to just
let the saw run thru the work at it's own pace, the blades do well. So far
I've recieved Sandvik and Starret blades in my orders from McMaster Carr.
I really find this tool handy for notching pipe and tubing for
making racks and frames. Leave one side in and take the pie out of the
opposing side......makes for nice clean corners in hollow forms.

Ralph
