All oscillator based LC meters have the drawback that non-ideal
components can't be measured accurately.  For example, the stray
capacitance of a coil will throw off the measurement, and the series
resistance will have a smaller, unpredictable effect.  This is unlike
a traditional phase-sensitive LCR meter, which can measure just the L.
