Ive found that the 130 is quite accurate if:
1.You thoroughly overhaul it which not only includes paper and electrolytic
caps but also any in the frequency, timing, and meter determining circuits
along with any resistors that are out of tolerance. That is just for the
basic overhaul to factory specs. It can be even better if you want.
2. Read the manual. It gives detailed instructions on the proper line
voltage for best results, calibration as well as L Correction Tables, and
error examples.
With mine I completely rebuilt it using 1% or less tolerance components by
careful selection, all new tubes, and zener regulation in place of the 0A2.
Was it worth it? Well, I did it more as an exercise of curiosity since I
have SS HP and GR equipment already for my needs. The 130 now holds its own
with any of them but the cumbersome setup makes for time consuming work and
it now sits as part of my display of vintage test gear.
