Thanks to all who are nite-picking the fly crap from the pepper.  The Simpson 269 replacement meter has never used, it is new, just like it came from the factory, in original packing, been in my possession for a long time, excellent condition, no scratches, no blemishes, not dents, no dings, no cracks, not being made any more, and whatever else.  Anyway it has been sold and the issue is closed.  Sorry I listed on this thread.  I thought someone would like a good deal but I was wrong.  Lesson learned.  I have another one just like the first but I will list is elsewhere.
