Considering the "new old stock" definition calibration was not at any point
directed at you, I don't understand your attitude.

In my opinion you described it appropriately - the history is "New Old
Stock", the condition: "Excellent".

Works for me and is exactly what I'd want to buy if I needed a replacement
meter for a 269.

I'm always appreciative when these types of offers are posted.  So much
equipment needing to be repaired requiring so many components which are
"unobtainium".

Thanks to all who are nite-picking the fly crap from the pepper.  The
Simpson 269 replacement meter has never used, it is new, just like it came
from the factory, in original packing, been in my possession for a long
time, excellent condition, no scratches, no blemishes, not dents, no dings,
no cracks, not being made any more, and whatever else.  Anyway it has been
sold and the issue is closed.  Sorry I listed on this thread.  I thought
someone would like a good deal but I was wrong.  Lesson learned.  I have
another one just like the first but I will list is elsewhere.
