Dave,
HP 3326A. Exceptional performance, and cheap in reconditioned test
equipment market.
It does exactly that, from some mHz to 13 MHz. It was several
thousand $$$ new, and there is no replacement in current Agilent
production, AFAIK.
Also, there are schematics around, and it's repairable (at least, I
did that sometimes).
