[Test-Equipment] HP 8640B Signal Generator

Leland,

Those slider switches are a weak point with the 8640
and I think the plastic or something actually degrades
over time. I never had one break on me when the
generators were new but now see it frequently. I would
like to ask others on this list if they have a
solution to this problem, either a sources of new
switch levers or a suitable replacement. By the way it
is still fairly easy to stick a pointy object into the
switch slot and move the switch so at least the
generator is useable.
