I haven't seen the inside of an 8640B for a while. I believe these are
Littelfuse's Microfuse products. For a 2A fuse, the part number is 272002.
Can also use 273002. The difference is operating temperature range with the
latter being spec'd to 125 deg. C.

Subject: [Test-Equipment] Looking for HP PCB fuses
Hello. I was wondering if anyone has any of the HP equipment fuses they used
on PCBs - specifically, I'm looking for the cylindrical type that's about
.200" round, perhaps .300" high, with radial leads in a 2 Amp value. These
are plug-in units that fit into socket pins that are soldered into the
board,
so they are easily replaced (if you can find them, that is).
This little beast came from the A18 -5.2 volt regulator board in an 8640B.
The markings in the top look something like this;
FM02
2A
LF
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Regards,
Carl Walker, WA1RAJ
