That's strange; I've used CR2032s in several 49x analyzers and they do just
fine over a period of at least a year or two. I wonder if you have a short
somewhere. What's the current drain?
There should be a lot of other options that weren't available to Tek when
they made the 2710, including a microcomputer-style Li battery with long
leads that can be mounted anywhere it's convenient.
