[Test-Equipment] Can Anyone Help?

I purchased a General Radio U-H-F Unit Type 1021-P2 which was supposed to be
a 250-920 MHz Receiver. Upon receiving it I believe it to be a Signal
Generator. There is no case or cabinet. It has a Jones plug inside which has
8 prongs on it which I think maybe the power connector. On the front panel
is the tuning dials, an output control dial in Microvolts, a Push to
Calibrate and an Output connector. I don't know if I can attach a photograph
(jpg) to emails on this list. If I can, I can attach a photograph to the
next email.

Can anyone verify that this is a Signal Generator? Any chance on a schematic
and pin out on the plug? Thanks.
