Hi Stan and everyone:

Another question on suffix letters of display mainframes for
spectrum-analyzer use with 855x plugins -- let's see:
140A original scope frame with round crt; overlay needed for SA use.
141A (what's different?)
140S round tube; crt maked for SA use?
140T rectangular tube; crt maked for SA use?
141S round STORAGE tube; crt maked for SA use
141T rectangular STORAGE tube; crt maked for SA use
143? some enormous-tube frame I have never seen a piture of.
Maybe they jumped up to S for spectrum-analyzer use? And T was just next?
I only have the 141T, but I am curious how well a non-storage tube works
for sa use, where sweep speeds can get slow. Anyone used one of the
earlier frames?
Is it only the 141S/T frames that have the AUX connectors on the back for TGs?
thanks,
gil
