[TenTec] Omni C question

Hi Jeramy,
I've had at least one pc of TenTec gear continuously since abt 1975,
starting with my first Triton IV, incl. an early Argonaut, Omni-B, and
others, up to now, an Omni-V and another Triton IV.
I've had very little problem with any, I did buy a cupl that were in
need of work, and replaced a final or 2 in some of them. I've always
been impressed with the factory knowledge and willingness to help owners
troubleshoot, repair and even modify (some) their equipment. Only with
my 2nd Triton IV did I come across the dial vernier's occasional need
for rebuild, and parts were readily available from the factory.
I wouldn't put money away in a spare parts rig unless it was very
cheap. As Jerry says, final xstrs might be nice to have, but if you
watch what you load into they might never be needed.
YMMV
