[TenTec] ten-tec

When you think about it it wouldn't make much sense to decide not to
purchase something based on unsubstantiated rumors written on the internet.
Much of what happens here in cyberspace is like reading what is written on
rest room walls. While at times entertaining one would be advised to do
their own research prior to accepting knowledge gained this way as gospel.
That is the position I take on information gained by reading this list,
Eham, QRZ, and web pages(ham radio and other topics). One can never truly
know the motivation or the research that goes into posted opinion.

While I have an afinity to Ten Tec I also have had good success with Yaesu
and Kenwood as well. I have more experience with Kenwood service, having
had far more problems with their rigs, and they in time have always made
them good.

I also don't appreciate the ethnic slurs about Japanese people or radios. It
has nothing to do with political correctness (as frequently asserted on the
other TT mailing list). It is out of respect. World War II was a long time
ago, so lets let it go.
