Paul,

Thanks for the help on the ground wire.  I need more
help.  I soldered on an pl-259 and checked continuity
from the sheild part to the center conductor it showed
good.  I hooked it to my antenna and everything still
checked ok.  After fighting with the mast to put it up
for 5 hrs. I finally had it set and tied down.  Today
I come in and solder the other pl-259 on and get no
continuity from center pin to the shield.  What
happened?  I cut the plug off after repeated attempts
to resolder the pin, then checked the continuity from
the center to the shield and have nothing.  What
happened?  Again, any help is appreciated.
